The ISO 9000 family of standards represents an international consensus on good quality management practices. It consists of standards and guidelines relating to quality management systems and related supporting standards. ISO 9001:2008 focuses on managing an organisation’s processes so that they consistently provide services that satisfies customers’ expectations. ISO 9001 is used in 176 countries by businesses and organisations large and small, in public and private sectors, by manufacturers and service providers.

BURG-WÄCHTER UK is now working towards achieving ISO 14001 environmental management system accreditation. ISO 14001 is awarded to organisations with environmental objectives at the core of their business strategies. We look forward to providing an update on progress later in the year.
